Special Thanks: Tim Rogeberg, Joel Searles, Spencer Stair, Dawn Casper, Noah Wolf, Robby Herbst, Andrea Zittel and everyone involved with the High Desert Test Site, Socrates Sculpture Park, ACME, and the Guggenheim Foundation For this part of the Interstate exhibition, Katie Grinnan’s parade float has come to rest. At High Desert Test Sites it was configured as an inverse parade where viewers passed the dispersed component of the float as they lay along the roadside. These components were then assembled onto a trailer and transported cross-country creating an impromptu parade at various locations along the route.
