FRIDAY, MAY 30, 2014   |   10 AM – 1 PM

This peer-to-peer workshop is led by students of LeAp’s Public Art Program. LeAp’s young artist activists, whose issue-based work will be on exhibit in NYC parks citywide this summer, will conduct a workshop with other youth to create two large-scale artworks that address critical community issues. LeAp’s Public Art Program empowers young people to have a voice in their communities by expressing themselves on major social issues through the creation and public exhibition of art. LeAp’s Public Art Program is a project of Learning through an Expanded Arts Program (LeAp).

Supported by ConEdison.
