No Fireworks View at Socrates

If you’re looking for a place to view the 4th of July fireworks from Long Island City, we recommend heading to Gantry Plaza State Park! The fireworks are not visible from Socrates and the Park will not be open after dark.

Transportation Update

There are many ways to get to Socrates, click HERE for details! However, if you are planning on taking the train – be aware that the N/W stop at Broadway is closed for construction until February 2019. The next closest stop is also on the N/W line at 30th Ave.
