Imagining a future urban landscape of Queens, Elizabeth Tubergen constructs an absurd structure – part staircase to nowhere, part seating for an unknown event. Disassociated from any clear relationships to the surrounding space, this non-utilitarian form illustrates the realization of the current trajectory of urban development.
