Found household furniture, such as desks, bureaus, and tables, are stacked tightly, and wrapped in faux marble vinyl tiles. The resulting structure is a heavy, jagged monument. At once proud and tall, the work highlights the notion of the monument, while playfully questioning its material value, and the subsequent value of the person, place, or event that the object is meant to memorialize.
