Which side are you on?, 2011Velvet, photographic lenses, salvaged wood, burlap, earth, concrete55" × 120" × 40"

Salvaged fabric and photographic equipment are repurposed into an elusive viewing barrier. Two lush, velvet forms hold lenses through which a viewer can experience specific sightlines prescribed by the artist. The mound has no front or back, only two sight trajectories, that require viewer participation to activate.
