With references to traditional craft techniques, such as homemade lacing, embroidery and needlepoint, the artist has created three largescale doilies, varying in size, which are stretched between tree branches like giant spiderwebs. The doilies are fabricated in rip stop nylon and painted with vibrant acrylic color. The web like structures are visually associated with kaleidoscopes and stained glass, specifically the Rose window at Chartes.
