Freedom of Movement, 2007Wood armature, polished alumninum, bronze boat nails16' × 12' × 5'

Made of polished aluminum over a wood armature, the artist has created a sculpture that resembles a large-scale version of a shark’s fin. Embossed on the surface are various maritime images, such as waves, an island and palm trees, an octopus, and a ship.
