Macrae Semans

For this installation, the artist has used an existing concrete pad (part of the Park’s infrastructure and history as a former ferry slip) and recast it as a staging area to present a field of found objects gathered from within the Park and surrounding environs. The composition alludes to both the physical rearranging of existing materials, as well as the intellectual act of collecting one’s thoughts, contemplation, and introspection.
