Construction Temple, 1993Wood, steel, rust, industrial orange11' × 14' × 12'

Reuse of industrial vocabulary with the heritage of ancient temples = reminder of the resemblance of industrial architecture such as factories to temples, where gods were worshipped by humans. So were machine gods in factories. The viewer enters the temple — outside, ruff and industrial — and inside, treated in industrial orange colors, referring to danger signs at construction zones, as well as to the spiritual color of some eastern philosophies. On ground level, a steel plate, rusted, creates a full cycle of the orange tone.
