Exhibition: Cityscape: Surveying the Urban Biotope

    untitled (eco de sacsayhuaman), 2009

    Plywood, studs, surewall, literature

    8' x 37' x 15"

Inspired by Incan architecture, specifically the Sangarara structure, the artist has erected a concrete zig zag wall, which at first glance could resemble many contemporary urban barriers. This structure originally comes from an ancient tradition that responds to nature as an elemental component of architecture.
