In the Middle, Smack Dab in the Middle, 2010Ceramic, fish gravel, faux flowers, spray paint, wire mesh, zip ties, top soilOverall dimensions approx. 300 sq. ft.

This installation is an accumulation of almost 1000 slip cast ceramic zip lock bags, shopping bags and bottles. Each one is filled with pink gravel and overtly fake blue plastic flowers. It is a translation of the litter that accumulates on city streets that has been consumed by the natural grasses in the Park.
