Yurt City II

Yurt City is a collaboration that began in 2006 as a collaboration between Ross and Ten Eyck, who then invited artists Fletch, Todd Knopke, Ted McGurn, and Derrick Wilson to produce yurts for a tent city installed in the backyard sculpture garden of Dam Stuhltrager Gallery in Brooklyn last summer. Look inside to find interior landscapes individually crafted by the artists. As a group, the structures offer an answer to the need for ever-increasing mobility in the age of globalization.
