City Parks Foundation hosts their Coastal Classroom program (for 4th-8th grade students from local summer camp programs) at Socrates’ Hallets Cove Beach. Science-based activities coupled with recreational opportunities such as rowing and fishing allow students to experience NYC waterways as their own backyards while learning how to protect them.
