It’s time for Halloween at the Park! This year we are celebrating Fèt Gede with vibrant Haitian cultural activities curated by Konfederasyon Nasyonal Vodouyizan Ayisyen (K.N.V.A.) and Imamou, including a Gede song workshop, card readings, and a procession culminating in a dance and drum performance at 3pm!

It wouldn’t be a Harvest Festival without Socrates traditions including sweet treats from local vendors, costume-making & a lantern workshop with artist Rafael Domenech, face-painting by Agostino Arts, Urban Shaman Mama Donna’s Blessing of the Animals & Pet Memorial Altar, and of course our annual Doggie Costume Contest at 2pm with prizes and local judges, Château Le Woof and Friends with Four Paws!

The Halloween Harvest Festival is produced in partnership with Alexandra Jean-Joseph of Imamou & Florence Jean-Joseph of K.N.V.A. – NY Chapter. The performances were conceived and directed by Alexandra Jean-Joseph with choreography by Mikerline Pierre & music by Menesky “Sky” Magloire.
