Rocky Horror Doggie Show
Start time TBA; Awards at 3:30pm

NYC’s 2nd largest doggie costume competition returns in style and grace. Jenn Wehrung will MC, and judges Natassa Contini and Nina Agüero Rios will award gifts for the best dressed dogs – and maybe also to synchronized owners. Woof!

Gifts have been generously donated by Chateau Le Woof, Friends with Four Paws, The Pupper Cup, Pupstoria, and La Tour Caline. Dog ice cream will be served by Pupper Cup. Yum!

Sign up day-of!

Flight of The Gourds
2–4pm; Judging at 4:00pm

Two teams will square off in a pumpkin carving competition: Kids Vs. Adults.  A group of kids will challenge our artist fellows to make the most beautiful, ugliest, slimy-est, most bedazzled pumpkins in the tri-state area.

Costumed VIP judges will select the winning pumpkins, which will be awarded catapult rides into the history books – making the contest NYC’s #1 biggest pumpkin carving and catapulting competition.

Palm leaf-making workshop
12–1:30pm

Artist Fellow Levan Mindiashvili will host a paper palm-leaf making workshop for all ages; echoing the palm leaves in his sculpture 127.1 BMP (To My Dancing Peers) that celebrates new life, vibrancy, and dance culture.

Bond Street Theatre’s Shinbone Alley Stilt Band
The Shinbone Alley Stilt Band will punctuate all of these events with jazz performances high above our heads from stilts.
