New Agora

June – September
Morning to Sunset
In ancient Greece, philosophers like Socrates, and the community would gather at outdoor public spaces known as an agora, which translates to “an open place of assembly,” to exchange ideas and sell goods. The New Agora series at Socrates Sculpture Park brings that collaborative spirit to the Park with a contemporary spin. Join us one Saturday each month this summer, day to evening, for conversations, interactive happenings, artist-led workshops, live music, screenings and more! Collaborators include The Fortune Society, Jazz Foundation of America, Dave’s Lesbian Bar, artists, organizations, and food vendors.
