Socrates Sculpture Park presents exhibitions through its interconnected roles as catalyst, neighbor, and steward—advancing artistic experimentation, fostering dialogue with surrounding communities, and caring for the land and legacies that shape the waterfront. Through site-responsive installations and artist-led projects, the Park continues a tradition of bold making that began in 1986, inviting visitors to encounter contemporary art in direct relationship with place. Exhibitions reflect Socrates’ commitment to creative possibility, shared experience, and the long-term stewardship of public space.
